User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040113 When pointing to http://www.foto.ru and browsing with several windows opened you try to close one window and get all the windows closed. At this time default debugger (vs6) is not launched by windows, so i think you track low-level exceptions in code. I think that option "open windows in separate process" can be usefull in this situation. By the way MS have invented it a long ago, and it's still very-very actual for their browser=). Also i have a request: to have an ability to totally disable "tabbed browsing". I usually click a link "open in a new window" via right mouse button, not via control-click. Sometimes i go angry when i missclick on a "open in a new tab", this options are very close. PS: I have englich w2k server with sp4 and IE 6.01. Thanks alot ppl! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

Please list clear steps to reproduce the bug, including _exactly_ how you open windows. That section of the reporting form isn't there just for amusement value, you know...
(In reply to comment #1) > Please list clear steps to reproduce the bug, including _exactly_ how you open > windows. That section of the reporting form isn't there just for amusement > value, you know... 1) I launch th first window via a shortcut on windows desktop. 2) Then i type www.foto.ru in url bar and strike enter. 3) When page load complete, i right-click any internal link on it and choose "Open in a new Window" in a popup menu. 4) Second window is open and page loaded. 5) I click on an "X" button in second window's system menu 6) The second window closes along with the first.

This is an automated message, with ID "auto-resolve01". This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code. While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug (given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more reproduction information if you have it. If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved. Thank you for your help in this matter.
