this has happened several times. i download the .8 fire fox version i like its
lay out better. i am currently running mozilla 1.7. 
i start the set up i go through the agreement and were i want to install it. i
inspects and sets up but then when it starts to install it locks up and does not
respond. i have to close it with task manager.

I am having the same problem using Win98 first edition. Firefox .9 installed no
problems. Tis very frustrating!
