User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7b) Gecko/20040421

On a certain gif on the internet (this was not an exhaustive search), I am able
to load a gif from the website, but when I scroll down, the gif goes away and I
get a message where the gif should be saying, "The image
"http://www.e-daf.com/Beitzah/2b.gif" cannot be displayed, because it contains
erros." This only happens when I scroll down. Before I scroll, it loads alright.

There are two ways this is manifested, each with a subtle difference. When its
loaded into a frame, e.g., from www.e-daf.com at the left bar under Beitzah 2b,
it loads ok until a scroll. If I load the gif directly from the url
http://www.e-daf.com/Beitzah/2b.gif, when I scroll down, part of the gif stays,
but the bottom is missing, and then when I scroll back up, a part of the top
disappears. When I go from that page to another tab and then return, the entire
gif is gone.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to http://www.e-daf.com/Beitzah/2b.gif
2. Scroll Down.

Actual Results:
The gif had problems as described above.

Expected Results:
The gif should have stayed there.

Internet Explorer 6 rendered the gif perfectly. To those of you who have never
seen a page of Talmud, the gif might look strange, but in IE, it really is fine,
despite the lack of English characters.
The GIF is actually invalid - it has an end-of-stream marker one pixel
before the end of the image. The error isn't propogating up through
layout properly, which is why the image stays around until you scroll
or otherwise force the image to redraw.
