User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040507 Firefox/0.8.0+
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040507 Firefox/0.8.0+

If using a Firefox browser with a build later than Gecko/20040422
Firefox/0.8.0+, specifically all builds for the week of May 2nd and onwards, it
is impossible to Sign on to CIBC Personal Banking. Build Gecko/20040422
Firefox/0.8.0+ works without issues.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Firefox build Gecko/20040507 Firefox/0.8.0+
2. Visit http://www.cibc.com/ca/personal.html
3. Click the "Sign On" button on the right-hand side of the page
3. Notice that the golden lock, that indicates a secure session, at the
left-hand side of the status bar indicates a broken lock! This should not be.
4. Click the red "Sign On" button on that "Online Banking" page. No need to
populate the Card Number and Password fields.
5. Notice that nothing happens!
6. Contrast this with Firefox Build Gecko/20040422 Firefox/0.8.0+, which
actually works.

Actual Results:
Script and page security issues using build Gecko/20040507 Firefox/0.8.0+.
Unable to "Sign On". This problem does not exist with Build Gecko/20040422
Firefox/0.8.0+.

Expected Results:
Expect to be able to sign on to online banking, and do so securely.

This bug is not encountered on most other sites.
This is two bugs
1. page security status not displayed correctly
2. submit button does not work
Separate bugs should probably be filed but, I think you're more concerned with
(2) which is probably a dupe of bug 242439? (1) works for me.
Anyone looking into this? This bug is still an issue.
The lock icon isn't broken in my 20040510 build.
