User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040512 Firefox/0.8.0+ Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a) Gecko/20040512 Firefox/0.8.0+ If you visit any secure site whereby the site SSL certificate was signed by an unrecognized root CA, Firefox hangs indefinitely, instead of displaying the security alert. This problem exists on all builds from the week of May 2nd and onwards. This problem occurs on both Windox XP and Windows 2000. Other operating systems are likely also affected. This bug does not exist in build Gecko/20040422 Firefox/0.8.0+ or older. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit the site: https://www.fortify.net/sslcheck.html 2. That's it. Firefox hands and must be terminated using Task Manager 3. Actual Results: Firefox develops rigor mortis and must be cremated using Task Manager Expected Results: Firefox should display a security alert and remain operational.

WFM Firefox Windows 2003 trunk 20040513 I've got 2 security warnings and no hang
Try it on Windows XP or 2000. Trunk 20040513 Hung on Windows 2000 Pro SP4 + latest MS bug fixes.
