244245 - 10000 Bookmark-0000.html files present in my profile

Hi

I found that there are 10000 bookmark-0000.html to bookmark-9999.html files
present in my profile folder. they seem to have beenn made every 2 file per
minute as i observe from the created date. All of them have same information.

I do not know how they got created.

After removing this i did not face the problem of slowness(hang types) of
mozilla on close of any window.

These were formed by 1.7RC1 unfortunaly i now only have 1.7RC2 when i discovered
the reason
I have the files zips and will send the file.

Hmm ... is/was your bookmarks file read-only? Perhaps this old bug helps: Bug
200498.

Because the reporter did say otherwise since June I am duping this one to 157152.
