I think this bug was just reportet but just in the context of frames in webpages.

I you using the Function SaveAs to save a webpage (without any frame), Mozilla
just save the HTML-page, nothing else.

No imgaes and no externely JavaScript-Files (.js-Files).

Which means if you open the saved page, if you are offline, you just get the the
text on the page and no images.

The same problem occurs if you save a page with frames.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a page without any frame (for exampel www.mozilla.org or
http://people.freenet.de/veb_softwareentwicklung/Starseite.html
2. Click on File -> Save Page and save the page
3. Go offline or let Mozilla go offline
4. Open the saved page

Actual Results:
You cant use any Java-Script-function and you get no images, beouse they are not
stored to the harddrive.

Expected Results:
The images should be displayed (and saved in an seperate directory with the name
of the webpages which was saved and the links which points to the image-location
in the webpage should be changed to the local path to the saved image) and the
Java-Script-files (.js) should also saved in this directory an the links to them
in the webpage should also changed to the local version of the Java-Script-files.
I had forgett to say, that this problem also occurs if you are using the composer.

If you are opening a web-page an go to File-> Edit, the page will be opened in
the Composer and you can edit it. In this moment all images are displayed.

But if you save the edited page and open it from the local harddrive, there will
be no image and if you looking on your harddrive you can see that there was no
image stored.

I don't know what occurs if you edit an webpage which is already stored on your
harddrive. But it will be very interesting what occurs if you build in the local
stored webpage a picture.
Have you selected "Web Page, complete" as file type? This is wfm with a current
cvs trunk build on win2k
O.K.

I have done that and everything is O.K.

Then it is no bug.

I have changed the servity to enhancemend.

In the next version of mozilla it should be choosed as default ("Web Page,
complete) in the Sav-AS-Dialog.

Severity: major → enhancement
"web page, complete" _is_ the default. I suppose you changed that selection for
some reason, and mozilla remembered it.
