Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.6) Gecko/20040206 Firefox/0.8

I downloaded the 0.9 update and tried to open, aka unzip, with Stuffit, but
nothing happened.

Literally.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. download
2. click
3. wait for nothing to happen

Actual Results:
nothing

Expected Results:
unzipped
Could you point to the exact file that you downloaded? The mac binaries come as
a foo.dmg.gz file, not a zipfile.
Is that happens with the branch (latest 0.9) or trunk build?

It's the version on the public website marked for general distribution. *NOT* the binaries.

I don't have access to the developer tree to tell which build it is.

just provide the exact url.

most likely gecko decoded the file for you but didn't rename it. try renaming it
to .dmg
WFM as well. Can you still reproduce this with a recent nightly?
closing as WFM
