User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040624 Firefox/0.8.0+

Double-click on a hilighted folder in Bookmarks Manager collapses all folders
into the root Bookmarks folder. Previously, you could expand/collapse hilighted
folders by double-clicking them. Is this change by design? If so, I strongly
protest it. Clicking those tiny "+" to expand/collapse folders is quite laborsome.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Bookmarks Manager
2. Click some folder to hilight it
3. Double-click the hilighted area except for a "+" tree node

Actual Results:
All folders collapsed into the root Bookmarks folder.

Expected Results:
It should expand the folder when it's collapsed, and should collapse it when
it's expanded.

I'd submit another bug about the root bookmark in Bookmarks Manager, and as far
as it's not marked WONTFIX I suppose this bug is not WONTFIX.
I checked Bookmark Sidebar for comparison, and it has different (and odd) behaviour.

In Bookmark Sidebar, just hilighting a folder opens it, and double-clicking
opens the hilighted folder AND Bookmarks Toolbar Folder. Then double-clicking
the expanded folder collapses it, but more oddly, opens another unrelated
folder. I'm convinced something is broken here. Maybe I should submit another
bug for the sidebar?
I don't see this bug in Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US;
rv:1.8a2) Gecko/20040627, it is Firefox-specific.

You Firefox install is a clean one (have you uninstalled any previous version
before installing your current one)? Have you tried with a clean profile?

I'm talking about trunk builds, not branch (Firefox/0.9.1). I re-installed the
latest trunk (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a2)
Gecko/20040628 Firefox/0.8.0+) with clean profile, and have this bug again.

Ups... sorry!
Confirming with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.8a2)

From today's trunk Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a3)
Gecko/20040729 Firefox/0.9.1+, double-clicking a folder in Bookmarks Manager
opens all items in it as tabs. I'm sure I saw this bug long ago and saw it's
fixed, but can't find which it is.
