Firefox stucks and stops responding when entering the site.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enter the sites address in the address bar
2.press enter

Actual Results:
The site starts to open, and then firefox stucks and stops responding.

Expected Results:
Not stuck...
I get a very similar problem. Sometimes if I click on a link in a slow site and
then hit escape to stop it, it does stop however afterwards any and all Firefox
windows that I have open are "stuck" as mentioned here. I need to kill Firefox
from the task manager. Also XP.
Same thing happens when entering site:
www.digitv.fi

The browser stops responding and when stopped from X it also needs to be killed
from task manager.

This is W2000K and firefox is 1.0.2

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
