This is not a very clear report. Please read the bug-reporting guidelines.
And search bugzilla before submitting bug-reports. This could be a dup of
several known bugs actually. Dup'ing against one of the more popupar ones.

I admit my report wasn't according to guidelines.

But "user friendly" modification of preferences in the profile isn't very
intuitive, right?

user_pref("browser.chrome.load_toolbar_icons", 1);

However, this doesn't work for me on Mozilla 1.8a2 at all, sorry for duplication
of report +2 years old. Don't get me wrong, I wish Mozilla team best luck, but
sometimes it feels like way too chaotic. Something is missing, but it's hard to
define precisely.
