HTTP uses some categories (on-modify-request, on-examine-response), bug 247981
adds another one. they should be documented.
darin suggested nsNetCID.h for that.
correction: on-modify-request, on-examine-response, etc. are not categories. 
they are nsIObserverService topics.

i think you probably meant: http-startup-category, which is defined in
nsIHttpProtocolHandler.idl
