When clicking this link the erratic behavior begins and I have to kill all
firefox.exe process's in order to continue use of firefox.

This has been tested on multiple installs of firefox

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Click link
2.Cry
3.Restart firefox

Actual Results:  
Erratic behavior unbecoming a mozilla program. ;)

I am having this problem after I close a window running JAVA.  Firefox seems to
start leaking memory, the address bars typing is backwards and the web browser
does not function any longer.  I have to close the web browser and then kill
firefox.exe from Task Manager.  It is happening on both PC I have it installed
on.  I have upgraded to Firefox PR.10 and the bug is still there.  I have tried
multiple different JAVA plugins and such to no avail.  Both systems are running XP.

The restart do not help all the time.

I have this problem as well when logging out of my bank's online banking. I
cannot provide a link at this time. This comment to confirm that the bug exists.

In my case the status is as follows:
In the "Preview Release" the text didn't go backwards anymore but the firefox
process didn't die after closing the window.

In "Release Candidate 2" everything seems normal, the process exited after
closing the browser.

Can't figure out what was causing the problem though...

Can confirm similar behaviour running latest firefox on windows XP Pro.

(Contains a java applet)

Things started dying, and no new FF windows would open. Wierdest thing was
typing www.google.com into the toolbar came out as if the text was flowing right
to left, not left to right. (Hence moc.elgoog.www appeared in the URL bar).

I killed all running FF and stil dead so system had to be restarted.
