According to the Java console this page uses a Java applet: yavs: Yet Another Vertical Scroller, version 1.2 (c) 1998 Steve Bassler http://www.westol.com/~bassmstr Google indicates that Java JRE 1.4.2 has problems with this applet: <http://www.javaworld.com/javaforums/showflat.php?Cat=2&Board=JavaSecurity&Number=4402&page=2&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1> <http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?thread=167157&forum=32&message=2169103#2169103> My JRE version is 1.5.0-beta2 (build 1.5.0-beta2-b51) and it doesn't crash when I visit that page. Hmm. I can't change the component field to OJI: Java JdG
