Clicking on a .rpm file in a directory of a FTP-server, Mozilla opens the query
whether to open or to save the file. Savong the file opens first the
download-manager, then the directory window. Clicking on "save" Mozilla crashes.
If the preferences are set to "Open a progress dialog", nothing happens at all.
Suse Linux 9.0 with 2.4-238 kernel and KDE 3.3.0

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to the upsite described directory.
2.Click on a .rpm-file
3.Click on Save in the directory window.


Actual Results:  
No download, sometimes slow download of a .part file with freezing.
Crash of Mozilla.

If setttigs should show a progress dialog, nothing happens at all

Expected Results:  
Open first the directory window to permit to set the target directory.
Download the file qickly without freeze showing progress either in the download
manager or in the progress window. 


Mozilla 1.7.2 worked fine with the same profile after uninstall of 1.8a3.
