In normal use of various pages on Neopets.com the CPU will suddenly go to 100% with Firefox taking 95-99% of it, and often freeze, requiring shutdown of many tabs. It has also occurred while simply loading one text file from my computer, without any other tabs open. Once it has gone to 100% cpu, the only way to restore it is to shutdown Firefox and reboot. I've never seen it recover on its own. This occurred occasionally with previous Firefox, but several times a day on Firefox 2.0.0.1 I haven't found one specific thing that starts it off.

The "continue" link listed in comment 0 now goes to a 404 page on scmagazine.com. The bug, as filed, is WORKSFORME (per comment 1 as well). Ellen, your issue is on a different site and there's no way to know if it's the same issue. Please file a new bug for your issue if you haven't already.
