[sairuh (rarely reading bugmail)]

the Notification toolbar --which appears for popup blocking and software
installation-- also appears when using Print Preview.

found using 2004082615-0.9+ (ffox aviary1.0 branch) on linux fedora core 2.

1. go to a page which would display the Notification toolbar for popup blocking
(cnn.com, si.com, etc.), *or*, click on an .xpi link on a page which would bring
up the Notification toolbar warning re: software installation (eg,
http://googlebar.mozdev.org/installation.html).

2. bring up Print Preview

expected: the Notification toolbar should not appear in Print Preview.

actual results: the Notification toolbar still appears in Print Preview.
fortunately, when you print the page, the toolbar does not appear on the hardcopy.

also note that the Notification toolbar remains active in Print Preview: you can
bring up its menu and click the Edit Options button.

Perhaps this is a side affect of the fix for bug 255162

tracy says this is also occurring on windows.

The patch in Bug 263599 should also fix this bug.
