Alt-F; Alt-E (hold alt, press+release f, release alt; hold alt, press+release
e, release alt) results in a deselected menubar and a system beep.

Expecting: Edit menu.

Alt-F,E (Hold alt, press+release F, press+release E, release alt) works
correctly [activating File->New]
