There is a java applet on espn.com that doesn't work properly. Moreover, the
layout of the page is all wrong. Forms run into simple text. Check it out.

Java works fine now, will work for external customers as of Beta 1. I was not
able to find an APPLET tag on the front ESPN page, though. Layout looked good
to me. Marking this FIXED, since Java works in current Mozilla builds and will
be in for Beta 1.

Mozilla still crashes on pages using java applets (try java.sun.com for
starters) - this with the latest nightlies on WinNT 4 SP 6a. npjava*.* present
in Netscape Plugins directory. Renaming them stops it from crashing. Attaching
crash log.

ESPN.com definitely has some layout problems - filing different bug for this.
For people outside of Sun and Netscape, Java applets will still not work. This
is because the Sun and Netscape internal folks have a newly-patched Java Plug-In
that will be released with Netscape's Beta 1. My apologies for mis-leading you,
dear bug reporter. When the Beta 1 release is out, it will include the patched
Java Plug-In.
Verified using the 2000030308 build with the patch applied
