(1 file, 2 obsolete files)

I have now got a file were all the table cruft is removed and replaced with a
nice definition list (I also marked up most of the abbreviations and gave every
term a unique ID). I have a few questions left:

 * can it become /docs/jargon (with a redirect on the current document)?
 * are all terms still relevant?
 * how to deal with broken links?
 * should every term be linked that is mentioned in the description?
 * should links be relative as in ../ or is relative from the root the way to go
   as in /projects/svg/ for example?
 * should new terms, like SVG, be added?
Attached file better jargon

A better idea is discussed in bug 202689. Maybe the attached file should replace
the current one for the time being?
Yes, I would just replace the current file rather than moving anything around.

Nicolas, could you check this in?
Please make the lines wrap at the appropriate place like you did on your other
patches? The lines go off the screen on this patch.

the following are defined in the glossary file in Mozilla Help and probably
should be removed: certificate, CA, PKCS #5, private key, public-key
cryptography, public key, public-key infrastructure (PKI)

the following definitely should be removed: CSS, DOM, HTML, XML

X.509 probably should be removed

need to define Gecko, GRE, MRE (former name for GRE), aviary, patch, r, sr,
testcase, wfm, seamonkey

need links to keywords and code definition pages (bug 200843)

I don't think anything should be removed.
Having terms defined in Mozilla Help is not going to help someone browsing the
site with IE.
two more suggestions:
- DND should be DnD
- dogfood is defined in the keywords page. remove it and link to the keywords page
Can't we leave this fixed? And make it redirect to /glossary once bug 202689 is
fixed.
