I'd like to see this bug reopened as I can reproduce this easily and have seen it for quite some time with Firefox on linux. My steps to reproduce: (I used a new profile) 1) Uncheck "Hide the tab bar when only one web site is open" in preferences 2) Open a new tab 3) Close the first tab (left-most tab) The first tab (left-most) is drawn too far left and it cuts off the left side of the tab. While this is not a usability bug, it is quite unsightly. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060607 Firefox/1.5.0.4

This still happens for me. 0.9.3 to 1.5.0.4 It's somehow related to the GTK theme. I once found a theme which it didn't happen, but that was some time ago. All the modern themes, clearlooks, etc still produce this ugly effect.

alright... I guess I'll go try to see what the clearlooks guys (that's what I'm using) have to say about this.
