This would be a nice extension to the keywords feature.

It would be a nice to have feature when you could select a certain text, right
click on it and select "Use selected text with keyword", so Moz uses the selection
as parameter for the selected keyword.

The context menu could look like this

+-------------------------+
| Search web for "test" |+------------+
| Use "test" with keyword >|Whatis |
|                         ||Whois       |
+-------------------------+|Leo |
                           +------------+

"Whatis" is for example a keyword for "http://whatis.com/?query=%s"

The user should be able to define which keywords are shown in this menu (since
some users may use lots of keywords).

MASS-CHANGE:
This bug report is registered in the SeaMonkey product, but has been without a comment since the inception of the SeaMonkey project. This means that it was logged against the old Mozilla suite and we cannot determine that it's still valid for the current SeaMonkey suite. Because of this, we are setting it to an UNCONFIRMED state.

If you can confirm that this report still applies to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it back to the NEW state along with a comment on how you reproduced it on what Build ID, or if it's an enhancement request, why it's still worth implementing and in what way.
If you can confirm that the report doesn't apply to current SeaMonkey 2.x nightly builds, please set it to the appropriate RESOLVED state (WORKSFORME, INVALID, WONTFIX, or similar).
If no action happens within the next few months, we move this bug report to an EXPIRED state.

This bug doesn't belong in SeaMonkey; if it is deemed desirable to fix it, it should maybe be split according to the components to which the files containing these typos actually belong.

Moving to Core::General for now; feel free to WONTFIX or to split into daughter bugs.

oops, wrong bug.

Hmm, maybe better to create an extension (add-on) for this, but could also be implemented in SM itself, thus confirming valid RFE.
