Details

Sometimes a long line of text within a message should be preserved at its
original length, rather than wrapped to the 72-column limit. When replying to
text, the quoted text in the reply *does* maintain the line length.

However, when forwarding a message inline as plain text, the long lines are
wrapped to the wrap-column specified in preferences.

In particular, if a text/plain message (without f=f) is forwarded inline as
text/plain, the line length should be maintained. Additionally, a text/html
line containing text with <pre> blocks should also maintain the line length.

This is currently not possible because the plain text composer always rewraps
lines; quotes are not wrapped only because they have a style applied to them.
Bug 262475 has been opened to request the infrastructure to implement a similar
style for unquoted text, supporting this bug.
