When using a slow connection, such as dialup that is being heavily used, picture
downloads seem to time-out with Firefox only loading a portion of the total
picture. The page then needs to be refreshed to fully load the image.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Click on a page with several large images.
2. Wait for them to load, or only semi-load.

Actual Results:
The pictures appear incomplete, with only a portion of them downloaded (can be
anywhere from 50% downloaded, to 75%).

Expected Results:
Loaded all images fully.

Using the default display theme, with the G-Mail plugin (disabling makes no
difference as it is unrelated).
Also, ICS is being used to share the dialup internet to this computer from another.

There is only 2 computers on the network. This one, and the host.
It's just a HTTP request timing out.

Try setting network.http.request.timeout pref to a bigger value in about:config
