Description User image djoham 2000-02-06 14:10:12 PST
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 [en-US] (Linux; I)
BuildID: 2000012520
When the right mouse click menut item "Open Link In New Window" is pressed, The
Mozilla Builds for Linux and Windows behave differently. Windows will open a new
window with the same size of the old one. Linux will always open a new window
the size of the default Mozilla application on start up.

I generally browse with the browser maximized. I actually prefer the behavior of
the windows builds. I would ask that the Linux builds open the new window the
same size as the old one.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Go to any site that has a link to another
2.Maximize the browser
3.right click on any link and choose "Open Link In New Window"

Actual Results: Windows builds will open the link in a maximized window. Linux
builds will open the new link in a smaller window.
Expected Results: Both builds should open the new window who's size is the same
as the original window.

confirmed on nightly 200020708

however, this could not be a bug. If you turn viewmanager2 on, it works.

worksforme is as close to closing as I appear to be able to get. Somewhere along
the lines this bug got fixed. Mozilla now opens a new window the same size as
the old one. I'm happy....
