If Camino is launched by external uri link should as NetNewsWire, some
characters are rendered as blank spaces.

It won't have this problem if Camino is launched before external link are called
from Finder, bookmarks, or uri entered in the Address bar.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. save this link in desktop by dragging the icon from Address bar to desktop
   http://ubb.frostyplace.com.tw/viewtopic.php?p=55949#55949
2. Quit Camino
3. open the saved uri in Camino

Actual Results:  
some characters are missing and shown as blank spaces instead.

Expected Results:  
The page rendered correctly.

i would like to correc the "Reproducible" flag.  It is not always.  I just can't
reprodce it after afew tries but it does happen for a few times for me. :(

By the way, I would like to report another related bug. The drop down menu are
sometimes rendered as blank or missing some characters while collapsed.

I have forgotten to mention.  It happens on the Camino 0.8.2 preview version:

Not the stable 0.8.1 release.

Works for me with that same build. Maybe it's specific to a setup that has
simplified Chinese as its default charset?

Yes, I have reinstalled the OS from scratch and it works on mine now. (0.8.2 International)
