This is probably a dup of the other focus bugs, but it's important since it
makes the editor pretty much unusable, so I'm filing to make sure it gets tested
when the focus fixes are in. It's been a problem for about a week.

Linux. Pointer focus (not click-to-type). Run mozilla -editor. Type some
text. Move the mouse out of the window (i.e. losing focus) then back in. Drag
the mouse across some of the text to select. Nothing gets selected! But if you
select before moving the mouse out of the window, it works (at least usually).

Also, after moving out and back in, try clicking somewhere to set the caret. No
caret appears. Type something. The chars go in and the caret comes back -- but
notice that the characters you type appear at the old caret position, not the
new place you typed.
Nominating for beta since this makes it impossible to change fonts, delete
blocks of text, insert inside existing text blocks, etc.

I just tested, and it works for me, but I have a few more changes in my tree.
However, I doubt they make the difference...
