When you write a long mail you don't see It all on the screen
So if you modify something for example on line 30
and then modify line 1, and back cursor to line 30, when
you use undo (Ctrl-Z), as you don't see line 1, you don't know
what is happening...

I think, the correct should be that cursor show exactly the place
is been modified

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.write a mail with enought lines to make scrollbar appear
2.modify first line
3.move cursor last line
4.Press Ctrl-Z

Actual Results:
You can't see where modification is made

Expected Results:
show me what is been modified

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a
copy) or, for feature requests, if it's not present in the latest version and
you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
Thank you for your help in this matter.

Still on thunderbird 1.5 beta1, I found same behaviour..
I think this will be fixed with a fix for bug 331269.
Depends on: 331269
QA Contact: message-compose
As per comment #3, bug 331269 isn't yet fixed. And I'm confirming this bug in Shredder Alpha 2, in 10.5 Mac Leopard.
