Wrap feature is not working properly.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open browser
2.Goto Edit -> Preferences
3.Goto Mail and Newsgroups
4.Goto Composition
5.On the right side pane "Wrap Plain text messages" is present. Change the
number of charcaters.
6.Now compose any message.

Actual Results:  
Wrap feature is not working.

Expected Results:  
Wrap feature shoud work.

This problem is seen in mozilla 1.8a5 on Windows as well as on OS/2.

Neelesh Sharma: your report is a little unclear.  Are you seeing the lack of 
wrap during composition, or when looking at the mail that's been sent?

Are you composing using the Plain Text mail editor or the HTML composer?
The HTML composer always wraps (unless you format the text as "Preformat").

If you're using the plain text editor:
Have you changed your 'monospace' font to a font that is in fact variable width?

What is your setting for  mail.compose.wrap_to_window_width  ?
