From Bug Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.7 [en] (X11; I; Linux 2.2.14-15mdk i686) BuildID: 2000020918 In certain cases, which have not been clearly determined, the Browser shows pages that were visited a few hours before. This seems to happen in two cases. When one stops the download of a page or when "back" is pressed. Note that this is not the usual behaviour one should expect. In most cases this weird behaviour resumes to "back" jumping a few history URLs. In one case it showed an "old" page over another window. In that window such session has never happened. It looked like as it "switched" the session of another window. In other case a URL that was down for two hours came suddenly "alive" in one window, after pressing "back". The history trend could never have lead to it, and it should have downloded a completely different URL. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Try to use Mozilla for two three hours 2.When pressing "back" or "stop" the behaviour may start happening. 3. Actual Results: Random readings of visited URLs with no clear reason. The event is highly random and rare. In any case it has not crashed Mozilla or shown any effect in its preformance. But when it happens it may be quite annoying as it slips out the normal History trend of the window session.

prosa@ksu.ru: Try not to put two bugs in the same report. It makes it difficlut to categorize a bug. Jumping back by TWO pages when pressing the back button is bug 10648. I'm not sure if this is what you are seeing in your first problem. I have no idea about problem two. Since both problems are related to previously visited pages, I'm changing the component to History.
Component: Browser-General → History
It is not two pages situation at least. I managed to see this in three sessions for two days. In one of the sessions it opened a page that was visited nearly in the beginning. Time span was already a few hours and several other pages were visited in the meantime. Frankly it is a Hell of trouble to find clear repeats of one and the same situation and check how it gets born. All I have is: press either "back" or "stop" and you'll see ghost pages. In short sessions I was unable to see such thing.
This needs to be reproducible more often. Try the latest build, I believe you will not see this happening anymore. Get today's or latest build at; http://www.mozilla.org/binaries.html
