when I am in a textarea and I want to scroll to the top or bottem of the page,
I usually get out of textarea focus and scrolling the mouse wheel up or down,
in firefox I need to click outside of the textarea and then scroll the wheel,
it make it really uncomfortable when I am moving to the next textarea and trying
to scroll the page so the textarea would be in the center of the screen.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. go to any textarea
2. get your mouse cursor out of the textarea
3. scroll the mouse wheel

Actual Results:
the page is in the same possition

Expected Results:
the software should have scroll the position of the screen,

Tried on this page with scrollwheel.

Or are you talking about autoscroll ?
Hi Peter
auto scroll works fine,
maybe I used the wrong word: "focus"
I ment when the text indicator is still in the textarea
and i am moving the mose outside of the textarea but not clicking anything
and then try to scroll the mouse wheel,
is that case worked for you as well?
Oran
Yes it does Oran.
If the textarea has scrollbars it'll scroll to the bottom (or top) of the
textarea before scrolling the page though, but that is expected and correct
behaviour.
Ok
so its my problem not firefox problem :)
sorry
I should have done some more q.a. before posting
