User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0

The "Old Mail" heading when the message Group By feature is repeated. The
occured when I deleted mail from the "Two weeks ago" heading but still had more
and less recent mail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Switch into Group mode View -> Sort By -> Group by Sort
2. Have mail messages that are 2 months, 2 weeks, 1 week and 1 day old
3. Delete the message that's two weeks old

Actual Results:
The heading "Old Mail" now repeats and contains the same content in both sections.

Expected Results:
Each Group By heading should appear at most once, but not all all if it has zero
messages.
I believe I am seeing this bug as well, but have not been able to reproduce it
consistently.

I, too, am using the Sorty by Date and Group by Sort view, and while deleting
messages, the "Today" heading will sometimes change to "Old Mail." In other
words, I'll have "Old Mail," "Yesterday," "Last Week," "Two Weeks Ago," and then
"Old Mail" repeated.

This appears strictly cosmetic, since the actual mail from today is still group
correctly, the label is just incorrect.

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
