This short patch seams to solve the issue. A little bit unsure about the right way to call the mapper (MT / errno / ...).

Patch checked into the NSPR trunk (NSPR 4.6) and NSPRPUB_PRE_4_2_CLIENT_BRANCH (Mozilla 1.8 Beta).
