I think? this is a bug.
I've tried workarounds, also I have not found during searching, any mention of
bugs related to this.
But then as a(my) woman would say "It's not shouting, here I am, here I am!"

I do not appear to be able to view quicktime elements in any website.
I can see them with Satans browser IE 6 etc.
I have downloaded the latest version of Quicktime, through Mozilla's link, and
this has made no difference.
I just see the placeholder "Q" icon.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
The quicktime images should be visible, and play.

I have not been using Firefox long, so I haven't F*(^ed about with any settings,
(if it aint broke don't tamper)

Where do you see a quicktime on that page?

Also, have a look at http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/ and see if that resolves your
problem.

Can you report back here about your findings?
279780 Had a look at the link, still can't resolve the prob, may be looking in
the wrong place though.

There are two quicktime items on the home page of thatsite, one is on the top
left of the home page. the other is to the right of the photo of the dark haired
model.
I cannot get any animations to run on most sites browsed using Firefox. They all
 work ok with IE.
Ta.
Can you post a screenshot? The items you refer to are flash items for me....
I think you may have a problem with your plugin handlers.
I've done something daft, but have not used Firefox for long enough to
determine what.
You're definitely routing flash objects to Quicktime [which they shouldn't]
Marking this bug as INVALID, as this is not a Mozilla or Firefox problem.

Can you look at http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/ for how to install Macromedia Flash
and try again?
