Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050110 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-2)
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20050110 Firefox/1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-2)

This applies to the Linux installations of at least the following known
Thunderbird 0.9.3 (?) --- whatever was in Debian before today (2/09)
Nightly 2005-02-08-05
"Debian" Thunderbird version 1.0 (20050116)

Initially, was working normally. I installed several extensions. I then found
my HTML mail would not display any graphics -- just the default outline boxes
where they should have been.
If I save the email as HTML and open-file in my browser, the HTML is rendered
correctly, images and all.

I uninstalled all Thunderbird extensions. However, it did not correct the problem.
As a SWAG, whichever extension is 'guilty' did not correctly clean up after
itself when uninstalled. Some chrome got hosed.

The installation script for any <updates.mozilla.org> extension should include
making a backup of any file it replaces, and the uninstall script should restore
the backup.

Reproducible: Always

This bug has had no comments for a long time. Statistically, we have found that
bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

While your input is very important to us, our resources are limited and so we
are asking for your help in focussing our efforts. If you can still reproduce
this problem in the latest version of the product (see below for how to obtain a

you still believe we should implement it, please visit the URL of this bug
(given at the top of this mail) and add a comment to that effect, giving more
reproduction information if you have it.

If it is not a problem any longer, you need take no action. If this bug is not
changed in any way in the next two weeks, it will be automatically resolved.
