User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1

When I hide Firefox and use other applications (doesn't matter which ones) and
then show Firefox by clicking in the dock. Most parts of the window do not show
up until either I mouse over them or refresh the screen. Now just the webpages
but also the elements in the toolbar are missing. Objects that blick or move on
their own usualy show up.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Hide Firefox (cmd-H)
2.Open and use other applications for a few minutes.
3.Open firefox again from the dock

Actual Results:
The entire window was blank and had to be refreshed.

Expected Results:
The window should look as it did when I hid the application.
I am seeing this as well - after Firefox (1.0.6) has been running for a while
and it is unhidden, the navigation toolbar, bookmars toolbar, the tabs - they do
not refresh properly. Minimizing the window to the dock and then clicking it up
again (usually mostly) causes all the elements to refresh properly. Mousing
over elements sometimes works as well to refresh.

This is quite annoying - almost makes me want to use Safari exclusively... This
problem has been around for several dot releases, at least. Not sure exactly
when I started seeing the lack of refresh.
Some more info - this happens both in 10.3.9 and 10.4.2.
I have the same trouble. The first few times it happens I can restore the
window to proper working order by dragging it to the bottom of the screen and
back (everything shows up again as usual).
After a while that stops working too, and the firefox graphics panel is messed
up (bits of the rest of the desktop, dock especially, showing through). Then I
give up and quit the application.

An update: I'm not seeing this behavior anymore: Firefox can now be hidden with Command-H for a long time, and will be restored without any trouble.
I think it was fixed in version 2.0 (possibly in version 1.5).
