User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050225 Firefox/1.0.1 If I have a textbox, for example, in a table and I type in some value and go to another page and come back, then the textbox will be blank. However once I put the table in a form then the value is retained when coming back to that page. It also works fine if the input control is not in a table or a form. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. copy and paste this code to see simple example <html> <body> Type some value in each textbox...<br><br> In a table in a form: <form> <table border=1 cellpadding=5> <tr> <td><input type=text id=text2></td> </tr> </table> </form> Just in table: <table border=1 cellpadding=5> <tr> <td><input type=text id=text2></td> </tr> </table> <br>Not in form or table:<br> <input type=text id=text1> <br><br><a href="http://www.mozilla.org">click here to go another page and then click back button to see remaining values</a> </body> </html> 2. 3. Actual Results: The second textbox control, which is the textbox that is a table but not in a form doesn't retain its value. Expected Results: Should have retained the inputted text.
