If I address an email to 5 people or more, and then scroll the addressfield
widget with the mouse scrollwheel, I either get a horizontal scrollbar on that
widget or I hang momentarily and then crash.

Unfortunately I can't get a very good stack from talkback which just shows this:

During the hang, most of the addressfield is grayed out and the cursor seems to
be flashing really fast on the top addressfield (which is grayed out).
stack overflow, (infinite) loop is approximately:
thunderbird.exe + 0x1512c5 (0x005512c5)
thunderbird.exe + 0x1522b9 (0x005522b9)
thunderbird.exe + 0x152050 (0x00552050)
thunderbird.exe + 0x1564f4 (0x005564f4)
thunderbird.exe + 0x1512c5 (0x005512c5)

asa: can you find a version of thunderbird that has working symbols and crash
that instead?

I can't reproduce this in the latest trunk. Are you still seeing this, Asa?

thanks. this is working for me on the branch. must have been fixed by some other
change.
