I deleted the Junk folder emails, quickly deleted the Trash emails and
almost immediately closed the application, which crashed the computer and caused
a reboot. When I opened T'Bird again, all of my emails, Inbox and all were gone.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Expected Results:
It should have delelted the few emails in the Trash and closed the application,
leaving the Inbox alone.
If your Windows crashed, it's very probably bug in your Windows, not in
Thunderbird. Could you reproduce bug and provide Talkback incident ID of your crash?

Very possibly Windows has a problem, but my girlfriend experiences the same
problem with a different version of Windows. Once T'Bird crashes, the only way
to enable to start again is to re-boot the system. The sme problem occurs with
Firefox on occasion.

bug reports that have not been confirmed by a second user after three months are
highly unlikely to be the source of a fix to the code.

reproduction information if you have it.
