Even after its finished downloading the page it shows in the status bar that it
is waiting for a response, or its connecting.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Goto http://www.ashleyit.com/rs/rslite/
2. Click on Get Server Var
3. The status bar will not update correctly.
4. You can download the sample and try on a local machine. Still the problem
will be there

Actual Results:  
It shows "Waiting for http://localhost/.." or "Connecting to localhost" even
after the results are there on the page.

Expected Results:  
The status bar should have reported "Done"

Could you test with a nigtly build to see if you still see the problem

Localhost is your computer so its strange that it displays that message.
