I frequently have this problem on one of my older desktop computers (XP Pro).
Typical example is clicking on stock in my portfolio at Harrisdirect to get
earnings estimate. Mozilla just closes. This never happened with Netscape. No
problem with three other computers in our office using Mozilla (2 are 98 SE and
a new laptop is also XP pro). Both XP's have service pack two. What to do?

Reproducible: Sometimes

1. Always on some sites, rarely on others.

Actual Results:  
I just switch to IE Have no time or ability to diagnose
Adding keyword CRASH, bumping severity accordingly to CRITICAL.

Not tabbed browsing -> moving.

Reporter, please fill out all fields and fill them out properly. Check the bug
reporting guidelines if necessary.

Adding URL field to http://www.harrisdirect.com/ assuming that that is the one
you're talking about. Do you have to be logged on to experience the crash.

Can you try in Safe mode [that is, without extensions]. Do you still crash when
you disable Java?

dose not matter which site, jre2 dosen't work with any site that uses java. jre2 crashes browser on any attempted logon to any site containing java content. I can reproduce this bug on damand.
This bug is really horrible.. It need to be fixed or you should provide older version back.

This bug is INCOMPLETE.

There is no information about the crashes including talkback IDs or crash logs of some kind. There is no indication that anyone who's see this has tried to reproduce it with a clean profile. And it's far too old to do anything with.
