User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 When the page displays scrollable DIVs, you cannot use the scroll wheel to scroll. http://www.hobbystar.com/ComicConTorontoV2/CC_Anime_Guests.asp?CategoryID=2 has a DIV tag which is scrollable, yet the mousewheel will not scroll through it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a website with a scrollable DIV 2. Try and use the scroll wheel Actual Results: nothing. The page remains the same, and forces me to use the buttons on the side of the DIV. I can't even middleclick-drag the frame down. Expected Results: Should scroll. I hate using those damn buttons. I HATE IT. no additional information. Tried on multiple computers, and I'm pretty sure i use the default theme.

WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050722 Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005072214 Possibly an issue with your specific mouse drivers?

(In reply to comment #1) > WFM on Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8b4) Gecko/20050722 > Firefox/1.0+ ID:2005072214 > > Possibly an issue with your specific mouse drivers? > My mouse drivers allow it to work in IE, and it doesn't work on other computers (roommate's) in Firefox and in IE.

Please try with Deer Park Alpha 2 or a current trunk build. I believe this was fixed on the trunk sometime ago.

This demonstrated the non-scrolling problem with DIVs. 1. Open the page, hover over the blue area in te DIV and try to scroll. (NOT WORK) 2. Click in the Blue area to ensure that you have focus on the DIV - try to scroll. (NOT WORK) 3. Click on the checkbox control and try to scroll - try to scroll. (WORK!) 4. Click in the Blue area to ensure that you have focus on the DIV but NOT on the checkbox control - try to scroll. (NOT WORK) This is the version I have. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 hope this helps....Hope it changes the bug status to confirmed!

Scrolls vertically fine for me. I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but I also have KatMouse installed to cause Windows to scroll whatever is under the cursor whether it has the focus or not. http://kickme.to/katmouse

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=203706 Hi guys/gals I gave a detailed description of this problem about 1 1/2 years ago (comment 5 - 2005-11-20 03:49:24), as well as sample code, the main issues was with checkboxes in a scrollable div. I am using 2.0.0.4 and it works as beautifully... I.M.H.O. You can close this off if you wish. Colin Maharaj Trinidad, WI
