Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) Build Identifier: I'm running Windows XP with FF 1.0.4. I recently got a security reminder telling me that I needed to upgrade to 1.0.6 (I wasn't able to go on a computer during the time 1.0.5 was out). So, I upgraded to 1.0.6. But, when I went into firefox, all of the internet sites displayed "done" in the status bar after 0.5 seconds, but displayed a blank screen. No matter what, I couldn't access the internet in FF. I tried system restoring, and reinstalling firefox, and using firefox on a different user (not firefox user, but Win XP user) but the problem still was there. I was not under a proxy server. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1.Get firefox 1.0.4 2.Wait until you get a security notfication to upgrade to 1.0.6 3.Upgrade to 1.0.6 Actual Results: Firefox simply wouldn't load any internet pages, while other browsers (e.g. Internet Explorer) did. Expected Results: It should have upgraded to 1.0.6 without any problems, and be able to load the pages. Even though it doesn't matter what theme I was using, as FF doesn't work in any theme, I was using the theme "Modern Pinball 1.05." I also have the following extensions: Adblock V5, Tabbrowser Preferences 1.2.7.1., ie view 1.2.3, Browse Images 0.3, HTML Validator (Based on Tidy) 0.5.9, Colo(u)rzilla 0.8.2. I also was using a program for Windows XP called "Skin Studio" with the skin called "Mac OS X Tiger."
