This has been noticed on several websites with various versions of firefox.

Often the text is larger than a text input box and is unreadable.

Also some text or graphics overlaps outside of tables.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit www.netflix.com/

Actual Results:  
Text and grpahic are outside of areas supposed to be in.

Expected Results:  
Text in input box should be readable.

Text should wrap to below.
Graphic should be in correct place.

I used gimp to hand-draw arrows pointing to three problems:

1) Links "Buy Movies" and "Help" extend outside of area.

2) text in input box is larger than input box and not all is shown.

3) "Recommendations" is outside of area.

Ignore the fourth arrow; I looked at webpage with konqueror and that
graphic is correct.

I think the graphics are correct and can be ignored in this bug report.

Maybe this problem is due to font sizes. Note that this happens with several
sites, such as www.linux.com/.

Settings are:

Proportional: Serif  18 pixels    
Serif: Luxi Serif
Sans-serif: Luxi Sans
Monospace: Luxi Mono 16 pixels
Minimum font size: 18

(Maybe this is related to Bugzilla Bug 296692?)

This is due to that y ou made the font-size bigger. If you increase the text
size of a website, it will eventually break graphically

anda about the text inside the text field being chopped off, that has been fixed
after 1.0.6

I see I submitted a page that requires registration. Sorry.
This is on my wife's computer and I didn't know until I tried at my workstation.

I reset Proportional: Serif  to 16 pixels
Monospace: Luxi Mono to 12 pixels pixels
And Minimum font size to none. And now it appears to work.

I don't know if this is a bug or not. Anyways, my wife wanted to have
larger fonts because websites are hard to read, but it is
inconsistent on if the font settings in firefox are honored or not
and also they may some webpages unreadable.

Maybe there is some way to just zoom the every webpage by default
by 15-percent??

Maybe resolving this bug report would be to document or warn in the fonts
setting dialog about unexepected results. Thanks.
