I filed this bug based on
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=265532#c12 so I an close that bug
out. Donno if that is the right summary though.

This has worked for a while. As a edge case, object tags need the "pluginurl" param to trigger our custom plugin frame, but that will be fixed/removed by bug 548133
