Hello. I have the "begin finding when typing" option turned off, but the feature
still works for some reason. Every time i go to any website, like google or
yahoo, i get a list of peviosly looked a items begining with the letters that i
just typed.

What's going on?

I have a new Mac, ibook.

Thanks for your time and assistance

Reproducible: Always
This is invalid the options you want are in the privacy section and have nothing
to do with Find as you type. Take a look at the Saved Form Information check box
in the privacy section. http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/options#privacy

FAYT is a feature that finds stuff in the page you are looking at
http://www.mozilla.org/access/type-ahead/

In the future please investigate the help options at

to start http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=38. Before filing a bug.
