User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; fi-FI; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 (ax)
Build Identifier: Thunderbird 1.06 20050716 [Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0]

You accidentally send e-mail to invalid recipient address ""@somedomain.com. You
will get an allert message: An error occured while sending mail. The mail server
responded: Invalid recipient: <"">. Please verify that your e-mail address is
correct in your Mail preferences and try again.

NOW! IF you shut down thunderbird before Thunderbird saves the e-mail to the
Drafts folder and then start again, you will have Send Messages popup. There you
are asked if you "Would like to send the massages in your Unsend Messages folder
once you are online" Choices are Send and Dont't Send.

This Don't send function does not work!! Thunderbird tryes to send it anyway and
the loop is ready! It's solveld manually by deleting mail from Unsend Messages
folder. If you don't do that, you can't send anything anywhere untill you have
deleted mails!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Write email to recipient <"">@anydomain.com
2.Send it
3. You get Alert message
4. Shut down Thunderbird
5. Start TB
6. You get Send Messages popup whit two choises 1. Send 2. Don't Send
7. Press Don't send
The loop is ready!

Expected Results:
It should move mails from Unsend Messages folder to Drafts folder
I think this is an edge case that's okay to leave as it is. You could get the same error with a valid non-existent address, and it could just as easily be solved by creating the account on the server, in which case resending the message the next time is the right thing to do.

You can also use Edit as New to make changes to the queued message.
