User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-GB; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915

After installing a clean copy of 1.7.12rc it hangs after selecting the user
profile. Clearing the profile chrome (delete chrome.rdf, XUL.mfl, restart)
brings it back to life. Installing a theme (GrayModern) is ok, but installing
any one of a range of extensions (UserAgentSwitcher, SwitchProxy, ImageZoom,
ExtUninstall, ...) kills it again.

Symptoms: start from cold or quickstart, Profile selector pops up; select
profile with an extension installed, Profile dialogue goes away, no browser
window appears, no box in taskbar. All other applications are fine.
mozilla.exe process appears in Windows Task Manager, it can be killed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Clear user profile chrome subdirectory, install 1.7.12 RC2.
2. Install a theme, or not, then install an extension in user profile.
3. Start mozilla (browser or mail), select profile with extension installed.
Actual Results:
No browser window appears.

Expected Results:
Browser window should appear.

This also happens with 1.7.11. Before I installed one additional extension
(ImageZoom), 1.7.11 was fine with a couple of other extensions
(UserAgentSwitcher, and SwitchProxy) that had been carried through in the
profile from 1.7.10 and before.
