Since the latest release of Firefox, I have been experiencing crashes of the
browser on a daily basis. This has only occured while viewing and refreshing the
view on the http://my.yahoo.com/p/d.html site. I refresh the view often as I
have some stocks that I monitor on the yahoo site.
I think it may have to do with the various calls that the page makes. Most of
the time the page loads but at least 3 times a day the broswer locks up and I
have to force quit it.

I have also uninstalled the browser and downloaded the full install from your
site and reinstalled it. The problem is still there.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Load the http://my.yahoo.com/p/d.html site
2.Refreshing the view multiple times.
3.Browser locks up

Actual Results:
randomly, the browser will lock up and not respond.

Expected Results:
loaded the page

no error message displays. the browser just gets locked up. I have to force quit
it and it tells me that the program has stopped responding.

I was very glad initially to have switched over to Firefox from IE, but if this
issue is not resolved I will have to go back to IE and I really do not want to
do that but being a developer I need to avoid frusteration such as a browser
locking up on me.

reporter, do you crash (acc. the summary you do, acc. your description you don't) ?

Since upgrading to the latest Firefox available I have had recurring crashes. Everytime I have more than one Yahoo! tab running (be it groups, e-mail, main page, horroscopes, news, movies, local, maps, etc.) the Firefox browser crashes. It will usually load atleast a 1/4 of the page, and then crash.

I get a message asking me to "report this program error to Microsoft" which I choose to ignore as they can't provide any form of support for Mozilla products.

I am running Windows XP Pro, Version 2002, Service Pack 2. I have an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ processor with 2.08 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM. I am running Firefox file version 1.8.20060.11112, product version 1.5.0.1

This crash has happened 4 times in the last 13 mintues alone, and is very repetative. It also occurs multiple times a day, and has been doing so since upgrading from the previous Firefox version.
No response from reporter re: comment 1 -->INCOMPLETE.
Reporter, if you still see this problem with the latest Firefox 2 please reopen this bug. Thanks!
