User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051107 Firefox/1.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051107 Firefox/1.5 The scrollbars only contain the top left of the display area when browsing back from the test page. The test page contains a warning for the link: 'Warning: this slide show will change your window size to fit its content' Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to http://www.mozilla.org/events/dev-day-feb-2004/ 2.Click link 'Mozilla Futures' or 'Thunderbird' 3.Click link 'here' 4.Click back button 5.(If link is opened in new tab in step 3, the tab close button disappears & previous tabs with pages larger than the screen have no scrollbars) Actual Results: The scrollbars do not frame the whole display area and the rest of it is not rendered. Products affected: firefox 1.5RC2 firefox-1.5.en-US.linux-i686.tar.gz - 16-Nov-2005 12:05 seamonkey-1.5a.en-US.linux-i686.tar.bz2 - 16-Nov-2005 15:54

Somehow that page does not have any links that work. even the <a style="color: #009;" href="mailto:brendan@mozilla.org">brendan@mozilla.org</a> link doesn't do anything.
Keywords: regression
Follow the steps to reproduce. The bug is seen when navigating 'back' from the URL. It seems to have appeared between 1.5b1 & 1.5b2 I need a link to the nightlies between those releases to narrow it down further
Better Steps to Reproduce: 1/Open browser 2/load http://www.mozilla.org/events/dev-day-feb-2004/mozilla-futures/title.html 3/Press reload Actual results: The page's code has broken the browser Note: I am using a 15" monitor at 800*600
The URL uses window.resizeTo to set the screen to 1024x768 This bug is about the behaviour in comment #1 which happens even if the window doesn't appear to have been wrongly resized when loading the URL. The behaviour in comment #4 seems to be related to Bug 104303 (or is it Bug 103454 ?), though resizing does not usually occur without a page reload. The bug seems to be linux only. Neither behaviour is detectable in 1.5b1 or on another linux machine although I always extract the program into an empty directory and start it using a new profile.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20100125 Minefield/3.7a1pre Works for me. Can reporter confirm if this bug still occurs for them on a recent Firefox version.

This bug was reported on Firefox 2.x or older, which is no longer supported and will not be receiving any more updates. I strongly suggest that you update to Firefox 3.6.3 or later, update your plugins (flash, adobe, etc.), and retest in a new profile. If you still see the issue with the updated Firefox, please post here. Otherwise, please close as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME http://www.mozilla.com http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+mode
